PIY (Print It Yo'self) Christmas Gift Cards + Wrapping Paper

Guess what, Christmas is just around the corner....
One . Month . Whaaaaatt!!??!!

So we made a little free gift for you, our very first PIY project. The concept? Print It Yo'self people!! Just follow the instructions below....

1. Download the PIY Files from our Newsletter subscription confirmation email. Haven't signed up? You can do that HERE

2. Print Christmas Gift Wrap on a sheet of 35-100gsm (lighter paper may be more difficult for your printer to manage) A3 paper. As a guide, normal printer paper is usually 100gsm. How many pieces you need? Well I don't know, how many gifts are you planning to wrap and how big are they??!!

  3. Trim white edges, and then wrap your gifts with painstaking detail and precision. We recommend using clear sticky tape and neutral cotton yarn to make it peek proof. Set aside.

4. Print Christmas Cards and Tags on a sheet of 120-150gsm A4 paper. You can experiment with textured paper for a more professional finish. I love a linen surface... There are two gift cards and four gift tags per page. So print away, as many as you need...!!

5. Using a scalpel and ruler or sharp scissors, trim white edges. Cut Christmas Card page vertically into three sections; separating the Christmas Cards from the Christmas Tags.

6. Fold the two square Christmas Cards in the centre along the coral and white edge. Write good tidings inside and post in square envelopes if you can find them. I'm sure rectangle envelopes will also work. This is where you'll require names, forwarding addresses and Christmas themed stamps.

5. Cut the Gift Tags into four equal rectangular pieces. Punch a hole in the end, write your To's and From's and tie with ribbon to your perfectly wrapped gift.

You're welcome.
